Michael Devito - Lead guitar, Vocals

Michael Devito, the lead guitarist and vocalist for The Fortunate Sons Band, reminisces about his transformative encounter with Creedence Clearwater Revival at Woodstock. At the age of ten, he was just a kid, immersed in the popular tunes of the day. However, one fateful night, while covertly listening to his transistor radio beneath his pillow, a new song captured his imagination: ``Born on the Bayou.`` Its evocative lyrics conjured images of mysterious swamps and moss-covered trees, sparking Michael's curiosity. Although the concept of a ``Cajun Queen`` eluded him, CCR's music forever altered his perspective on Rock and Roll. Even now, whenever he plays that song, the goosebumps return, serving as a poignant reminder of the enduring impact of CCR's music on his life.

Doug Kupper - 2nd guitar, Vocals

Doug Kupper lends his talents as the second guitarist and vocalist for The Fortunate Sons Band. Reflecting on his first encounter with Creedence Clearwater Revival during a late Saturday night at Woodstock, Doug was captivated by the urgency, teamwork, and strength of their music. Now, years later, getting to sing and play those same songs is not just a privilege but a profound gift. For Doug, it's a heartfelt tribute that imbues new meaning into the word 'tribute,' allowing him to honor the timeless legacy of CCR through his own musical journey.

Ron (Bucky) Pitz- Bass, Vocals

Ron (Bucky) Pitz is the bassist and vocalist for The Fortunate Sons Band. With a rich musical background, he has been a part of several bands over the years, sharing stages with some of the most prominent rock and country rock acts of his time. His passion for music led him to embrace the timeless sound of Creedence Clearwater Revival, finding their music as relevant today as it was over 40 years ago. Bucky brings his expertise and enthusiasm to the band, ensuring audiences experience the true essence of CCR's legendary tunes.

Marshall Grossman - drums

Marshall Grossman brings the rhythm as the drummer for The Fortunate Sons Band. With a passion for music dating back to the late 60s, Marshall recalls spending his hard-earned allowance on Creedence 45s, mesmerized by the band's double-sided hits like ``Fortunate Son/Down on the Corner`` and ``Have You Ever Seen the Rain/Hey Tonight.`` Inspired by Doug Clifford's iconic drumming, Marshall embarked on his musical journey. Now, over fifty years later, he finds joy and thrill in bringing those timeless beats to life alongside the band.

Reliving Woodstock: The Fortunate Sons Band Performs CCR's Iconic Set

The Fortunate Sons Band faithfully recreates Creedence Clearwater Revival's iconic Woodstock set from August 17, 1969, as featured on the 2019 album ``Live at Woodstock.`` Performing the entire setlist, they enhance the experience with projections of original Woodstock footage, offering audiences an authentic and immersive tribute to CCR's legendary performance.
